Hey Everyone! :)
I've finally entered my first photo contest, and it's sponsored by one of my very favorite photography websites, currentphotographer.com! I just wanted to use this blog post to just thank everyone for voting! I've waited so long to finally be 18, so I could actually enter one of these contests! The photo I entered is one of my very favorite from the 2010-2011 football season. I had the honor to be the "mushographer" for the HTHS varsity football team, and I can't wait to do it all again next year! :) You can vote once a day, so please vote as much as you can. I'd love to win this contest, so thank you for voting! :)

Haley R.
Haley is awesome! Her and I share love for great quotes, which is even more awesome! She came fully prepared with a ton of great outfits, but we narrowed it down to her favorite two! She came to take her Miss Hewitt photogenic photo, and little did I know that I was photographing the next Miss Hewitt for the Class of 2013! She did so great at the pageant! I love the photos that came out of this shoot. Before the pageant, I took a ton of motivational quotes to Haley, and they totally worked! I'm so proud of you, Haley! :)
Meri L.
Meri scheduled with me, and I was so excited! She's such a sweet girl, but very intimidating! She used to wrestle (until she moved), she does pageants regularly and she plays softball! The shoot was scheduled right after school, and luckily, I ran into Meri in the school parking lot. Her car battery died the day of the shoot! So, we hopped in my car, and went on to the shoot, and it went great! She submitted her photo to the photogenic category, and won! I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the photos! Congrats Meri! :)
Tiffany L
Tiffany was the first one to contact me about doing her studio headshot for Miss Hewitt this year! Of course, I was so excited because she's my best friend! We had a great time on her photoshoot, and she has a great personality, so it was easy to capture that! She is beautiful, and I'm so happy I get to spend my senior year with her! She did great in Miss Hewitt, getting second place! Congrats Tiffany! :)

Will and Jake!
I was so excited when Will and Jake's mom called and scheduled, and I was even more excited when I found out we were shooting at the baseball field! We have gone to school together for as long as I can remember, and I can't believe we graduate in one semester! I had a blast today seeing them play baseball with each other through the lens. Thanks guys for a fun afternoon! :)

The Jacksons!
This was one of the best shoots! It made me wish I was a kid again! The Jackson kids ran around without a care in the world (and stopped for a few poses here and there), and I've never been so happy with the outcome of a shoot! It was so great to just basically relax, and watch them play through the lens. I'm so glad y'all are back in the south, and I had the opportunity to do this! Thank you so much! :)

John Walker - Alabama Grad
When John asked me to do a little shoot for him after his graduation, I was instantly so excited! We traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but hey, what's not to love about Tuscaloosa?! Anyways, when my dad and I got there, we drove around looking at all of the historic places and talked about a ton of stuff that's happened at the university. When graduation ended, we took over the President's Mansion! We started a trend, since everyone else was too scared to even get on the steps of the mansion, but after we did it, everyone followed! I had so much fun on this shoot because it was so real...that sounds so weird to say, but it's probably one of my very favorite shoots. I think it was so real because it was such a great moment in John's life, and he let me photograph it. We didn't have a lot of time to shoot before we had to head back to Trussville, but here are my favorite shots. Thank you John, for letting me shoot this for you! :)
